Glosniki online shop

The hi-fi speakers internet shopping project (www.glosniki.biz.pl) has been realized as an end-to-end solution, starting from requirement gathering up to a successful deployment. We have chosen the Joomla CMS system with Virtue Mart shopping cart, taking maximum advantage of products of the  thriving open source community. Thanks to our positioning service the site now ranks very high in its niche, serving many hundreds targeted visits a day.

Scope of work:

• Integration of the Joomla CMS with the necessary extensions.
• Configuration of the web site.
• Development of a data import application in order to automatically publish the product database. The application was written in Python
• Performance tuning of Virtue Mart. The optimizations were necessary to accommodate for the 4000+ products currently in stock, dramatically improving the app’s responsiveness.
• Testing.
• Deployment and administration.
